About St Mark’s

St Mark’s in New Ferry is a gathering of local people who come from all sorts of backgrounds, cultures, ages, and stages along the journey of faith.

What’s important to us is that we are a community of God’s people, who are finding that Jesus Christ gives us strength for today, and bright hope for tomorrow.

We welcome everyone on Sunday mornings, or as part of one of our activities during the week, and we’d love to extend that welcome to you.

As well as being a local church family, we’re also part of a much bigger family that extends way beyond New Ferry, the Wirral, and the UK. Locally, we belong to both the Wirral Gospel Partnership, and the Northwest Gospel Partnership, reflecting our priorities and core beliefs. We’re also part of the Anglican Diocese of Chester (receiving extended episcopal oversight from the Bishop of Ebbsfleet) which is in turn part of the worldwide family of Anglican churches.
